From Hunger to Hope Radiothon

NRMRadiothon2015SuperTalk 99.7 WTN will go commercial-free for the 2015 Nashville Rescue Mission Radiothon on Monday, November 23rd.

Two dollars and twenty-six cents ($2.26), that’s the cost of a meal for a homeless man, woman, or child and the message of the upcoming SuperTalk 99.7 WTN Nashville Radiothon for the Nashville Rescue Mission. Throughout the day, SuperTalk will ask listeners to please call 312-1500 and donate to the organization that has served our community for over 59 years and has never collected a single dime from the government.

The Nashville Rescue Mission (located at 639 Lafayette Street in downtown Nashville) not only provides food, clothing and shelter to Nashville’s poor and homeless, but strives to improve their lives in terms of physical and emotional well being, so they can live thereafter in sobriety, stability, and service, and support themselves financially. During the 59 years of service to the community, the Nashville Rescue Mission has successfully served 665,500 meals and has done so by relying solely upon its funding through individual donations and volunteer efforts.
