(WASHINGTON) -- After three months of declines, the nation's wholesale prices are on the rise.

The U.S. Department of Labor reports more expensive food and soda helped push wholesale prices up 0.2 percent in January. Food prices alone were up nearly a full percentage point.

Still, overall inflation remained in check.
